What is a more action menu? ›

The More Actions menu contains various actions and functions that apply to the specific record list or detail form that you have open.

An action menu comprises a set of action list items, where each item represents an action, command, submenu, or the current selection that can be either a single or multi-select.

What is the Action Menu? The Action Menu is the primary way that you access controls to your avatar and various other quick-access controls.

Actions will show in the "3 dot" menu ONLY if they are set with the "Prominence" setting of "Display as Primary". However, we cannot set it to show ONLY in the "3 dot" menu, if that is what you were asking. It will also show as an Overlay button in the bottom right-hand corner just above the Edit button.
