Ambition is a driving force that motivates individuals to pursue their goals and aspirations. It can be positive and lead to personal and professional growth, but it can also become negative and consume one's thoughts and actions to the point of neglecting important relationships and personal well-being. Yes, ambition can cause anxiety. According to Psychology Today, ambition can lead to fear and anxiety, unless the person is able to manage the symptoms and recognize them once they start creeping in.You can cope with anxiety caused by ambition by recognizing when you need to take a break and set realistic goals. Ambition and anxiety are often linked and it’s important to recognize when you need to take a break and focus on self-care.
