As part of the identity verification process we’ll ask you to provide your:
- Legal name
- Date of birth
- Last 4 digits of your SSN
In some cases, Cash App may also request your full SSN, residential address, unexpired government-issued photo ID, and/or income verification or source of funds.
You can verify your identity and check your verification status in Cash App at any time:
- Go to your profile icon at the top right of the Cash App home screen
- Choose Security & Privacy
- Continue to the Identity verification section. If we’ve verified your identity, it will say Verified
- If you're not verified, you can select Verify to continue with identity verification
