What is Region 3 of the United States? ›

Region 3, based in Philadelphia, serves Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia, and the nation's capital, Washington, D.C. The region is remarkable for its diversity.

Region 3: Central California

Region 3 is comprised of mostly Central Valley and Central Coast, and is comprised of Fresno, Inyo, Kern, Kings, Monterey, San Benito, Santa Cruz and Tulare Counties.

Region 3 is composed of seven (7) provinces, 14 cities, 116 municipalities and 3, 102 barangays. The provinces are Aurora, Bataan, Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, Pampanga, Tarlac, and Zambales.

Region 3 – Essequibo Islands – West Demerara

It is made up of low coastland, hilly sand and clay, and a small portion of forested highland regions. This Region has a population of 91,328 people who live in villages, many along the coast. Rice farming is predominant, with small amounts of sugar and coconut cultivation.

Region III otherwise known as the Central Luzon Region is very rich in cultural resources. The diversity of the region's cultural resources is evident on the existence of festivals, folk arts and crafts, cuisine, historical and archaeological sites, and its indigenous people.

By the 1700's, the American colonies grew into three distinct regions. The New England, Middle, and Southern regions each had different geographical and cultural characteristics that determined the development of their economy, society, and relationships to each other.

Florida (/ˈflɒrɪdə/ FLORR-ih-də) is a state in the Southeastern region of the United States. It borders the Gulf of Mexico to the west, Alabama to the northwest, Georgia to the north, the Atlantic Ocean to the east, and the Straits of Florida and Cuba to the south.

The fourteen Counties that make up Region 3 are: Alcona, Arenac, Bay, Genesee, Gladwin, Huron, Iosco, Lapeer, Midland, Ogemaw, Oscoda, Saginaw, Sanilac, and Tuscola. There are four significant urban areas; Flint, Saginaw, Bay City, and Midland. The regional population from the 2010 Census is 1,139,144.

Region 3 - Southeast Asia, and East Asia (including Hong Kong). Region 4 - Australia, New Zealand, the Pacific Islands, Central America, Mexico, South America, and the Caribbean. Region 5 - Eastern Europe, Russia, the Indian Subcontinent, Africa, North Korea, and Mongolia.

Region 3 – The Southeast United States.

DVDs made or licensed in different parts of the world have different region codes. Region 1 films are largely from the USA and Canada, Region 2 films are from the UK, Europe, Japan, and the Middle East, and Region 3 films are from Southeast Asia, South Korea, Hong Kong, and Taiwan.

These are the DVD region codes: Region 1 - Canada, the United States and U.S. territories. Region 2 - Japan, Europe, South Africa, the Middle East (including Egypt) and Greenland. Region 3 - Southeast Asia, and East Asia (including Hong Kong).
