The level of advanced strategy and combat far make up for any slight downfalls in story/dialogue which is why I believe this game deserves a perfect 10. We buy games like this to experience great turn based combat and this sits up there with some of the best ever.

Triangle Strategy is a very different game. It's more of a tactical RPG, akin to FF Tactics rather than OT or BD. It's still a fun game but not the same kind of experience.

The battle system in Triangle Strategy might be fairly straightforward for anyone that has played any recent tactical strategy game. However, it can still be considered daunting by those unfamiliar with the genre.

Gameplay-wise, TS is a big improvement over FFT (obviously!), especially the exploration mode which was a nice touch. Overall they're both amazing games, but I do find myself longing to play FFT once I'm done with TS.

Grinding will do very little to help in Triangle Strategy. You catch up on levels very quickly if underlevelled, and while there's some penalties for being underlevelled they're minimal to damage (IIRC they start if you're 3+ levels below the enemy).
