A Personal Identification Number (PIN) typically consists of four to six digits. However, some systems may allow for longer PINs for added security.

A: The hardest 4-digit password is 8068. It is one of the strongest numeric passwords available. Other commonly used 4-digit passwords are 1234, 0000, and 2580. To create the strongest 4-digit password, experts recommend combining numbers, symbols, and capital letters for a secure password that is difficult to guess.
After typing 3 wrong pins (it doesn't have to be on the same day) the chip of your card will be blocked. To unblock your chip, you can go to an ATM from a major bank. You should be able to see a new 'PIN Unlock' option or you can otherwise view your remaining amount. A third option would be to withdraw cash.
If the card-reader displays the message 'WRONG PIN' it means the PIN for the card has been entered incorrectly. You have three attempts in total to get your PIN number correct. After getting the 'WRONG PIN' message you will have two attempts left before the PIN is locked for use with the card-reader.

What is the most common PIN code?

While some PINS are six digits, the majority of PINs are four digits long. Four digits gives you the opportunity to make 10,000 different PIN numbers.
A 4 digit PIN number is selected. What is the probability that there are no repeated digits? There are 10 possible values for each digit of the PIN (namely: 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9), so there are 10 · 10 · 10 · 10 = 104 = 10000 total possible PIN numbers.

Once you insert the ATM card into an ATM and log in to your account, go to 'Change/Reset PIN' Enter the existing PIN and then enter the new PIN which you want to use the next time. You will be sent an OTP at the number registered with your bank account; enter this OTP to validate the action.

If a password is only four or five characters (whether they are just numbers or a combination of numbers, letters and symbols), there's a very high chance that it will be hacked instantly. However, if a password is only numbers and up to 18 characters, it could take a hacker up to nine months to crack the code.
There are 10,000 four-digit numbers between 0 and 9999. This includes all numbers from 0000 to 9999, with each digit ranging from 0 to 9.
How to unlock a debit card?
Contact your bank's customer service center via phone. Follow the instructions provided by the automated voice system or speak to a representative. Provide the necessary information to confirm your identity, such as your account number, card number, and personal details.

You can directly approach your bank or its branch and submit a written application, requesting an automatic unblock of the ATM card. To verify your identity as the card's user, you must submit ID and address proof. Once these details are verified, the bank will unblock your card.
PIN numbers are not required to use your debit card. You can continue to use the card by signing for purchases. Purchases made using a PIN could be denied if the merchant decides not to allow healthcare purchases on the PIN network.
Fraudsters can still use your debit card even if they don't have the card itself. They don't even need your PIN—just your card number. If you've used your debit card for an off-line transaction (a transaction without your PIN), your receipt will show your full debit card number.
