What will the earth look like in 100 years? – Youth Voices (1)

Even if we make big changes, it’s unlikely that climate change will completely end. In 100 years, oceans will most likely rise, displacing many people, and it will continue to become warm and acidic. Natural disasters like wildfires and hurricanes will continue to be very common and water resources could be scarce.

NASA is researching earth to make observations that will benefit everyone. They’re also developing new technology to push the boundaries of the future, and better explore the moon and Mars, and maybe other planets someday. They think that much remains to be learned about the Moon and how we might use its resources to support human life somewhere other than the earth.

Dear Kate:

I am impressed with your post, “What will the earth look like in 100 years?” because it is very scary to know that climate change will never go away since it’s impossible to get rid of it. I think the earth will come to an end sometime in maybe approximately more or less than 100 years.

One sentence you wrote that stood out to me was, “They think that much remains to be learned about the Moon and how we might use its resources to support human life somewhere other than the earth.” This sentence stood out to me because if there is a way of getting other resources from other planets then there is a way to take a human life to other planets so we wouldn’t die.

Thanks for your writing. I look forward to what you write about next because you talk about really important topics. I would like to hear what you have to say more about our planet.

Hello Kate! Your post is very interesting because it talk about our future and how Earth will look like in 100 years. I think important thing to mention is that we can’t change what happened and it will be hard to prevent global warming because we can’t change something that has been happening for 100 years fast. Thank you for your post!

Dear kate,
I an intruiged by your post “what Will Earth be Like in 100 Years” because I feel like it can be an eyeopener on what direction we are heading in as a society. As well as we are able to predict what our climate will look like after 100 years. One sentence that you wrote that stuck out to me was “Even if we make big changes, it’s unlikely that climate change will completely end.” I think it is shocking that we’ve reached a point where we have created unreversable effects on our planet.
Thank you for writing this and I look forward to reading your future posts because I will hope to see more stuff like this based around the direction of humankind.

Leonel, how do you propose that we try to correct some of the effects of climate change? If we cannot change what has already happened, can we find ways to prevent more damage?

i am fascinated by your post on ¨what will the earth look like in 100 years¨” because since it shows how the earth will change like the seas will probably rise. There will in any case be catastrophes like tropical storms and rapidly spreading fires yet a portion of the water will be scant, the environment it’s impossible will change following 100 years.

One sentence that got my attention was ¨Natural disasters like wildfires and hurricanes will continue to be very common and water resources¨. The reason why this caught my attention was because it saying that it´s really common to have these in the world.

Thank you for writing i can´t wait to see more of your amazing writings.

I am impressed by your post ¨what will the earth look like in 100 years¨ because it shows how the earth will change like the oceans will most likely rise. There will still be disasters like hurricanes and wildfires but some of the water will be scarce, the climate it’s unlikely will change after 100 years.

One sentence you wrote that stands out to me is ¨It’s unlikely that climate change will completely end¨. I think this is amazing because it shows how this will change in 100 years and how it will change like the water in 100 years will be scarce and it´s shows how the climate is unlikely going to change.

Thank you for your writing. I look forward to seeing what you write next, because you show how the climate it’s unlikely going to change in the rate we are in but you show how the water in 100 years will be scarce. Another resine is that you show how nasa is researching the earth to make observations that will benefit everyone 100 year and the technology that will help us in the future.

What will humanity look like in 10,000 years? ›

This suggests some surprising things about our future. We will likely live longer and become taller, as well as more lightly built. We'll probably be less aggressive and more agreeable, but have smaller brains.

What will happen 1 billion years? ›

In about 1 billion years, our planet will be too hot to maintain oceans on its surface to support life. That's a really long time away: an average human lifetime is about 73 years, so a billion is more than 13 million human lifetimes.

How long will humans last? ›

But how long can humans last? Eventually humans will go extinct. According to the most wildly optimistic estimate, our species will last perhaps another billion years but end when the expanding envelope of the sun swells outward and heats the planet to a Venus-like state. But a billion years is a long time.

The skull will get bigger but the brain will get smaller

Humans in the year 3000 will have a larger skull but, at the same time, a very small brain. "It's possible that we will develop thicker skulls, but if a scientific theory is to be believed, technology can also change the size of our brains," they write.

How long will humans live in 2070? ›

Will humans survive a billion years? ›

Given that our species is around 100,000 years old and a billion years is 10,000 times longer than that period, it's fairly safe to say that while our descendants (if clever enough to solve the problem in Scenario 2) could possibly still be alive, nothing identifiable as H. Sapiens will be around.

Will humans live for hundreds of years? ›

“Based on mathematical models, our longest potential [lifespan] is around 150 years,” says Dr. Blander. However, “we know that genetic manipulation of model organisms increases their lifespan by up to 100%, so taking into account point number one [humans] can live up to 244 years.” But he doesn't stop there.

What will life be like in 500 years? ›

In five hundred years technology should be more advanced but the world will be polluted due to the waste humans produce and it will be hot due to the Global warming. If global warming keeps increasing at the rate it is the earth will be unfit for humans to live in.

Humans looked essentially the same as they do today 10,000 years ago, with minor differences in height and build due to differences in diet and lifestyle. But in the next 10 millennia, we may well have refined genetic 'editing' techniques to allow our children to all be born beautiful and healthy.
