Renaming a collective group of Squid from Shoal to "Squad" would be the most appropriate action to take in this scenario. The term "shoal" is not as memorable and does not contain the same finesse as the term "squad". Children will grow up using this term, rather than not knowing due to the unmemoriable nature of the current term. "Squad" would help with our education and awareness of marine life.
Together, we can make this change and make an impact in the life of squid everywhere. I hope that, as a community of squid-lovers, we can all persevere through this time of diversity and overcome the hardship that our squids have faced. Sign this petition for our honor, liberty, and hope as members of this beautiful planet.
