I read my husband commenting someone saying “i miss my old fish :(“ what does it mean?
Blake
Fish could mean naive an vulnerable, depends on how it's being used in the sentence.Using the word in this sentence " I miss my old fish " would generally mean someone's fish is missed, whether it was lost, given to someone else or just died. Probably wouldn't look to much into that.

Mary, is your husband into fish? Has he had fish he was attached to that you know of? If not then he is saying he misses his ex. Like the saying "plenty of fish in the sea" which refers to the dating pool, it's saying there's tons of people to date in the world. Missing his old fish most likely means he misses his ex, a fish that went back to the sea. Fish can also mean a cisgender (not transgender) woman & it can be a noun ("Ugh I hate when my man stares at a fish, it makes me feel like he isn't into girls like me"), an adjective ("Ariana did very fishy makeup today, she is getting better at the natural look"), or an adverb ("Alejandra, when can you teach me how to look fishy?). I don't think this is what your husband meant tho, I think he was saying he misses his ex.
