Works great! Bought some and will re-order more soon.First level counterfeit detector easy to use tool that minimises otherwise huge loses where paper currency is still in use.First time used it on the $ while travelling and found it works quite well on my country's currency too.

I bought these pens so that I could check my money after seeing Fake Britain where there were a lot of fake £20 notes being passed. I got in touch with CPP and bought them they are fantastic. No black on any of my notes! They are brilliant, we had just sold a caravan and were paid with cash so indeed they were very handy. Thanks to CPP. EV Pembs

We have tried the yellow coloured money pens but they are nowhere near as good as these black ones. The ink on these are much darker making it really obvious if you have a forged note on your hands. They last longer too so we will keep buying them from you, thank you!AC Stockton

Chaperone® Counterfeit Money Detector Pen Description
The Chaperone® Money Detector Pen which is suitable for all major currencies,checks authenticity of bank notes via colour change to the paper.
There is a deluge of Forged £20 Notes currently circulating within the UK. Forged notes are big business and are usually passed off in shops and pubs or clubs at busy periods. The type of shops targeted vary but the forger will look for shops with longish queues, like bakers and general stores and pubs. In this way, the forger will wait in the queue until reaching the front and order something quite small and then tender a dud £20 note.
They are looking to maximise the profit by getting as much change as possible for their dud note. They are relying on the amount of shoppers who are queuing to cause the shopkeeper to 'rush' through each transaction so as to get through the customers as quickly as possible so as not to risk losing any of them.
Simply making a small, swift line on each note with the Chaperone® Money Pen will immediately show whether further inspection is necessary because if the note is genuine, the mark left by the pen will be light in colour but if the pen leaves a dark or black mark, the probability is that the note is a forgery. Remember, the banks will not compensate you for a forged note handed in so the entire loss is down to the poor old shopkeeper. Always make sure that you test the pen regularly by making a small mark on ordinary paper to ensure that the pen still has ink!
