The Capital One Quicksilver credit score requirement is 700+, which means you need good to excellent credit to get this card. Capital One will also consider your income and debt among others when making approval decisions for the Capital One Quicksilver card. You can see if you pre-qualify for this card on Capital One’s dedicated webpage.
With a $0 annual fee, unlimited 1.5 - 5% cash back on every purchase and a signup bonus of $200 for spending $500 in the first 3 months, Capital One Quicksilver is a great rewards card.
What to do if you don’t meet the Capital One Quicksilver credit score requirement:
If you don’t meet Capital One Quicksilver’s credit score requirements, the Capital One QuicksilverOne Cash Rewards Credit Card is easier to get. This card has the same 1.5 - 5% cash back rate as Capital One Quicksilver, but with no signup bonus and a $39 annual fee. Applicants with limited have a shot at approval, though. And if you get the Capital One QuicksilverOne, you could upgrade to the Capital One Quicksilver once your score is higher.

Well, if you’ve got a score above 710/715, you should have good chances of approval.

I have an 800+ credit score and no debt. They just declined me. Income over $60k. I guess since I don't usually carry a balance and wasn't going to transfer it they don't want me. wish they would stop sending me offers.

How can I increase my credit score quickly?
The fastest ways to improve your credit score are to pay down your balances, dispute incorrect information on your credit report, make more frequent payments, and reduce credit utilization. Credit utilization (how much of your credit limits you use each month) contributes to a portion of your credit score that accounts for 20% - 30% of your overall score. So, an adjustment there can result in a big credit boost pretty quickly. Similarly, you can dispute...

Income is also an important consideration. If you don't currently have any credit cards then Capital One is more likely to issue you a Platinum card then after 6mos of good payments a credit increase then at about 12 Mos you may be given a Quicksilver or Quicksilver one card. It really depends on your current situation. If your new to credit or are starting over then Capital one is a great place for your first card. I have Quicksilver and Platinum from them. Yes, 2 cards
