Update who can see your posts in your settings. Use the audience selector to choose who can see each of your posts. Review posts before they appear on your timeline with Timeline Review. Choose to block someone's profile, which keeps that profile from doing things like seeing or commenting on your posts.

Facebook offers several options. You can hide someone's posts or unfollow that person, which means you remain "friends" but no longer see their posts on your News Feed. There's also the option to snooze someone's posts for 30 days.

When you add someone to your Restricted list, you'll still be friends with them on Facebook, but they'll only be able to see your public information (example: your posts and profile info you choose to make public) and posts you tag them in.

Method 1: Check Your Friend's Profile Directly
- Navigate to your friend's profile by clicking on their name.
- Scroll through their timeline to see if any hidden posts are visible.
- If you can't see the desired post, it may be due to privacy settings or the post being deleted.
Look for empty space at the top of their profile.
If you've been restricted, you won't be able to see the private posts, hence the space here. Depending on when your friend made their public posts, you might not see a gap here even if you have been restricted.

Took effort but figured it out.
- Go to your own About page.
- Hover over More in menu and select "Likes"
- Click on the pencil that is labeled "Manage"
- Select Edit Privacy.
- Select Other and select who can see what you like. I recommend "Close friends"
- Tinker with the other types of likes that others can see.
Remember—anything you post on a friend's timeline can be seen by your friends and theirs.
