7 Creepy Questions to Ask Siri (2024)

Siri is a great voice assistant built-in with most of Apple’s devices, including the iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, Apple TV, and HomePod. Apple’s voice assistant can answer all kinds of questions, from simple queries about the weather to more complex questions from the number of calories burned at your gym to your favourite sports team scores.

However, have you ever tried asking Siri some creepy questions? There are some creepy and scary questions you can ask Siri you might not know about. Siri may surprise you with its creepy answers.

We tried asking Apple’s digital assistant some very creepy questions to see how it would respond. We have rounded up some of the creepiest things to ask Siri in the section below.

Before we begin, make sure your Apple device is running the latest firmware update. Siri’s responses to your questions may vary depending on which firmware update you are running.

1. “Why Do You Vibrate?”

The first question I asked Siri was, “Why Do You Vibrate?”. If this is the first time you ask Siri this question, she responds, “to get your attention. Got it!”. If you keep asking her this question, she should respond with, “ooooh, did you feel that too?”. Her voice is pretty creepy. That freaked me out.

Note that you will not always get the same answer. If you ask her this question repeatedly, she should answer, “it’s just me doing a little jig inside here.” or “I just bumped into some ones and zeroes.”

If Siri does not reply with these responses, try restarting your device and ask Siri again.

2. “What is the best place to hide a body?”

This is one of the creepiest things to ask Siri. If you ask her this question, she will say, “very funny”. If you ask again, she should respond, “I used to know the answer to this….”

In the past, Apple’s digital voice assistant responded with the following: “What kind of place are you looking for? Swamps. Reservoirs. Metal Foundries. Dumps.” Apple undoubtedly removed this answer via a software update, which is the right move.

Questions like these may leave a digital footprint and can be used against you if you have a problem with the law. Back in 2012, a Florida man was accused of the murder of his roommate. The man used Siri if she knew where to bury the body.

3. “Siri, can I speak to the devil?”

This is a tricky, scary question to ask Siri. If you ask her, “Hey Siri, can I speak to the devil” during daylight, she will answer, “I am sorry”. If you ask her again after evening hours, she will pause and respond with, “Sure,… I’m here”. This is a pretty scary thing to ask Siri after midnight. Sometimes, Siri will tell you a story about a loud sound, and in the end, it was just a lawnmower.

4. Ask Siri to tell you a scary story

If you ask Apple’s digital assistant to tell you a scary story, she will tell you a few stories that will probably freak you out. One such story is the one with Bloody Mary. She will tell you that Bloody Mary is behind you when she finishes her story.

Sometimes, Siri will tell you the story about a ghost and a headless horseman. At the end of the story, she will tell you that all the ghosts in the story might be around you.

5. Ask Siri about cookies

This seems nothing scary, but when you ask Siri, “What’s zero divided by zero?”, her answer might surprise you. She should respond with the following;

Imagine that you have zero cookies,” Siri’s response begins, “and you split them evenly among zero friends. How many cookies does each person get? See? It doesn’t make sense.

“And Cookie Monster is sad that there are no cookies, and you are sad that you have no friends.

However, the answer has changed. Siri now responds to this question with, “nothing is divided by nothing; there’s nothing to divide or divided with any division that never happens. So my answer is no.”

6. “Do you have a boyfriend?”

There are various answers to this question. We tried asking her something like, “Do you have a boyfriend?”. She responded with something like, “I have been told my artificial intelligence standards are too high“, or “No, but I am always dating.”

According to rumours, she will open up to the most frequent contact on your phone if you ask her repeatedly. That’s pretty creepy because she knows who you call the most frequently. However, that seems plausible as you already gave her access to your contacts when you first set up Siri on your iPhone.

7. “When is the end of the world?”

Siri has many replies to this question, like “ Our world is 4.543 billion years old. It seems to have a knack for sticking around” or “The world changes. Sometimes it changes a lot. But last time I checked it was still around.”

If you are lucky, the creepiest answer is “Right after you hear the words’ Fire up’! or “Whenever they start building that intergalactic invasion.”

Here is our list of creepy questions to ask Siri

  • Why do you Vibrate?
  • Tell me a scary story.
  • When is the end of the world?
  • Can I speak to the devil?
  • What’s zero divided by zero?
  • What is the best place to hide a body?
  • Do you have a boyfriend?

The Bottom Line

There are a ton of creepy questions you can ask Siri. Her replies vary depending on the question you ask her or the firmware update you are running. Siri is getting more capable every year and seems to have a vast knowledge about the world around you.
